Thank you for taking an interest in the Asian Pacific Children’s Convention (APCC) and its associated activities.

This website served to introduce Singaporeans to the APCC programme.  It also served as the official registration portal to sign up as Junior Ambassadors (JAs), Peace Ambassadors (PAs), or as a chaperon for the upcoming APCC BRIDGE Summer Camp to be held in Fukuoka from 15 to 25 July 2023 (actual departure and return date subject to change).

APCC BRIDGE Summer Camp (formerly known as APCC Invitation Project)

The application for Asian-Pacific Children's Convention (APCC) Junior Ambassadors (JAs) is now open.  We are filling up 4 Singaporean kids born in the year 2012 to represent Singapore at the APCC BRIDGE Summer Camp in July 2023.  Click here to learn more about APCC BRIDGE Summer Camp in Fukuoka, Japan.

For former APCC JAs, you are also invited to relive the APCC experience again and represent Singapore as Peace Ambassador at APCC 2023.  More details can be found at www.bcio.org in due time.

For those who are interested in the APCC BRIDGE Summer Camp, please click here to fill up the online form, and submit it to us before 1 Mar 2023.  For past-JAs who are interested to participate as PA, or if you have any queries with the application as JA or PA 2023, please do not hesitate to write to the APCC Liaison Officer at bridgeclub.sg@gmail.com or use the “Contact Us” form.

Who is coordinating APCC in Singapore?

The Ministry of Education (MOE) had been the liaison office administrating the APCC Junior Ambassadors (JAs) for Singapore since the 1st APCC in 1989.   At the request of Bridge Club International Organisation (BCIO), the Japanese Cultural Society, Singapore (JCS) has been invited to take on the role of liaison office from 2013 onwards.  It was also given the mandate to set up (revamp) the Bridge Club in Singapore, which will operate under the new branding of Bridge Club @ Sg formed as an interest group/club under the JCS, Singapore.

The Bridge Club @ Sg will be undergoing an organisational transformation to serve the past participants better as alumni.  The Bridge Club @ Sg organizes SCA and cultural activities/events, as well as supports to the liaison office to select, train and prepare the JAs for their once-in-a-lifetime journey to participate in APCC in Fukuoka, Japan.

Finally, we wish to hear from you with your suggestion or comment to help us improve the website better, both in terms of content or functionality.  Drop us a note at the “Contact Us” page to write down your thoughts.

Have a great day, and we hope to see you in our activities.
